Das grosse M & the fem: 1,5 years ago I started a new Rap-project - with a first idea of lyrics back in June 2023! Backed by our new chief of the Institute (where I'm working for 28 years now) I started writing lyrics about the institute, made a cool beat - and all this during my working time! So to speak I went commercial - aaaaahhhh!!! ;o) And it's been great fun. Also to cooperate with our marketing team for the video! Now here comes pt 1, there is more 2 come (4 songs are basically ready).

M & his POCKET BAND becomes 20 years old: After 5 years of not beeing active we finallymet again on 4th January in Svends "Spiel:Raum" for a first rehearsal. And today there is a big jubilee: It's been on 28th of January 2005 that we first played a live concert in the JazzKiste in Stuttgart with our original lineup! Now we plan to get back on stage for a few little gigs - which presumably won't take place before 2nd half of 2025 or beginning of 2026. We'll keep of course keep you informed on all channels!

Live again: On 27th October I'll be back on stage in Remse once again: this time accompanied by "Hackberry". They will play their funny cover songs an I'll be the fairytale-teller, I mean - rapper again.

Live again: On 20th January I'll be back on stage: After 4 years I'll go back to Remse to the "Möbelhaus Kral". There will be a video show about a long distance flight in a little airplane I'll be responsible for the musical frame with my jazz-funky-instrumentals of my old Pocket Band style and both of my gliding rapsong. If you're around - show up!

30 years: ...I appeared on stage with a mic in my hand for the first time! Back then it's been in our favourite club in Zittau Ost around midnight. So I used this jubilee for producing an "ego-"track about myself. Lyrics and instrumental are already finished. Studio recordings are about to start next time and there surely will be a video too.

Here we go: After roughly 15 years my "partner in rhyme" Dash from the band "KKW" returns on the mic and delivers part II of the Corona-Rap: Dash (KKW): "Drinnen und draußen (Corona-Rap II)" And maybe there will be some more of us - we have some other material under work... .

Now at last...... I did it: From today on you can find my two Rapsongs about gliding (soaring) on all known download- and streaming platforms as a double-single. Some of the platforms are linked here! Add-on (20th December): My EP "Märchenstunde" is also available again online for streaming and Downloads. However, its without the skits - for these I recommend buying the original CD!

The big M strikes again... . Here comes my brandnew song and video about the best hobby in the world ;o) This time there are even more spectacular film recordings - which this time nearly completely were shot by two other gliding polots, who thus enabled this video! Thanks a lot Thomas Schwanitz and Jörn Leiber! In in terms of the theme this song is kinda very up to date: Watch, listen, nod your heads and have fun! Das grosse M: "Mit der Kraft der Natur" (feat. Da BIG M strikes again... . It has lasted less than 6 years - and here it comes: My new music video! No, I'm jokin': It took me only one year... . However: the song was finished end of 2016, but I wanted to publish it just with the video, so you had to wait that long, without knowing it ;o) "Da big M: "Die Piste ist frei"" Turn it loud, push full screen - and nod yo heads!

POCKET BAND live... ...again: The POCKET BAND was invited to start the Jazz session in Aalen next month in the Frape (Julius Bausch-Str. 34, Aalen, 7th March). The program is standing now: We'll bring along Classic Rock, Reggae, Hip Hip and of cause some Jazz-Funk tunes. Hope to see and hear you there!

POCKET BAND live... ...it's a tradition now ;o) The POCKET BAND will be back at the A.L.S.O. (Goethestr. 65, Schwäbisch Gmünd, 2. February 2018, 8:30 p.m.). The program is under work now, one classic Jazz-Funk tune is set, the rest - we'll see the next week at the rehearsal.

We'd like to say thank you for your positive feedback and you may know what comes now as you see this "nervous" photograph: There is new video stuff online - two of the songs of this gig were recorded in very nice sound and image quality: - "And then there was the bridge" - "Spinning" So just turn it a little louder and enjoy !

But the greates news is this one: As "Das grosse M" (The big M) I have shot a music video of a german languaged ComedyRap song from my CD "Märchenstunde" in the last golden autumn days of this September.
